FIRST AID COURSES

MRCS Certificate Courses

These are courses organised by the MRCS for its members and also the general public. There shall be an examination conducted at the end of each course and a certificate awarded to those participants who have completed the course successfully.

The course are categorised as follows:

For MRCS members

• Certificates for schools: Exclusively for those in secondary schools
• Basic Certificates: For Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) members
• Advance Certificates: For Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) members

For MRCS Instructors

• Teaching Methodology
• International Humanitarian Law (IHL)
• Basic Life Support

For the General Public

• Introduction to First Aid & Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• MRCS First Aid Certificate
• Basic Life Support
• MRCS Advance First Aid Certificate
  This course can only be offered when a candidate has already obtained the Basic MRCS First Aid certificate. This is a comprehensive course of 24 hours module and approximately 6 hours to cater for examination at the end of the course.
